In 2024, Uzbekistan's airports served 13.5 million passengers, marking a 30% increase compared to 2023, when the figure was 10.41 million, according to Uzbekistan Airports.

Additionally, in 2024, new airlines such as Flyadeal, LOT Polish Airlines, Qatar Airways, World2Fly, and Iberojet began operating flights to Uzbekistan.

Through the country's airports, 95,050 tons of cargo were transported, which is a 33% increase compared to the same period in 2023.

A new cargo terminal is set to open in Tashkent soon.

In 2024, the international airports in Urgench and Tashkent underwent reconstruction. Modernization work is also ongoing at the airport in Andijan.
