In 2024, the trade turnover between the countries reached nearly 150 million dollars, demonstrating a growth of 20%, primarily due to services, heavy machinery products, and medical equipment.

The parties expressed a unified position on the necessity of adopting additional measures to further increase trade turnover. In particular, the use of the ports of Tallinn, Muuga, Pärnu, and Sillamäe was discussed to diversify the export routes of Uzbek products to the markets of Northern and Western Europe.

Steps to strengthen investment partnerships and industrial cooperation were also considered. Currently, there are 31 enterprises operating in Uzbekistan with Estonian capital.

During the meeting, plans were agreed upon to involve the business circles of both countries in the implementation of new projects in the fields of green energy, IT technologies, water management, pharmaceuticals, transportation, and logistics.

As a result of the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to further deepen cooperation in all discussed areas and agreed on a schedule of joint activities for 2025.
