Uzbekistan and Poland have discussed the expansion of economic cooperation between the two countries.

On February 24th of this year, Ilkhomjon Umrzakov, the Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with a delegation led by Michał Jaros, the Deputy Minister of Development and Technology of Poland.

The negotiations focused on strengthening and expanding economic and trade ties between the two countries.

The parties discussed a wide range of mutually beneficial economic cooperation areas, including issues related to privatization, the banking sector, the pharmaceutical industry, geology, and other fields. The Polish side expressed its readiness to share experiences with Uzbekistan in these areas.

Additionally, the Uzbek side showed interest in studying Poland's experience in regional development and enhancing energy efficiency.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Polish side expressed a strong interest in attracting investments into various sectors of Uzbekistan's economy, establishing joint ventures, and implementing advanced technologies. This, in turn, will contribute to the creation of new jobs and enhance the competitiveness of both countries' economies.
This meeting represented an important step in strengthening bilateral relations and opened new opportunities for deeper cooperation, promoting stable economic growth and improving the standard of living for the populations of both countries.
