Uzbekistan has proposed the removal of trade barriers with the EAEU.

Uzbekistan has proposed the development of an agreement to lift trade restrictions with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). This announcement was made by the Prime Minister of the Republic, Abdulla Aripov, during a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council held as part of the Digital Almaty 2025 forum.

Additionally, the Prime Minister announced that Uzbekistan is considering joining the unified customs transit system between the EAEU and third countries to optimize and simplify cargo transportation.

During his speech, Aripov also expressed Uzbekistan's readiness to engage with the financial support mechanism for cooperative projects in the industry, which operates within the framework of the EAEU.

The Prime Minister invited representatives from the member countries of the council to attend major events scheduled to take place in Tashkent in April 2025, including the "Innoprom. Central Asia" exhibition, the EAEU Business Council meeting, and the first CIS Regions Forum.
