The MASN brings together over 200 members, accounting for more than 97% of global insurance premiums. Uzbekistan's accession to this organization will be a significant step in strengthening the national insurance market, enhancing its transparency and competitiveness. Membership in the association will facilitate the adoption of advanced regulatory and supervisory practices, the development of digital technologies (InsurTech), access to analytical data and best global practices, and will also boost the country's international presence in the insurance sector.

During the discussions, key issues were addressed, including the MASN strategic plan for 2025–2029 and the roadmap for 2025–2026, the prospects of Uzbekistan joining the association and its impact on the national insurance market, the development of the NAPP in line with international standards, as well as the benefits that MASN membership offers to the country’s insurance industry. Additionally, participants reviewed global practices in managing climate risks, financing mechanisms, and partnership opportunities with Swiss Re and Europe Re in the areas of agricultural insurance, risk management, and the development of Uzbekistan’s reinsurance market.

Deputy Director of NAPP Orifjon Faiziev emphasized the importance of collaboration with the International Association of Insurance Supervisors and noted that the agency intends to actively develop cooperation with IAIS and its members, contributing to the improvement of insurance sector regulation in the country.

The study trip was organized as part of the UNDP global project "Implementation of Risk Insurance and Financing Mechanisms in Uzbekistan," which is being implemented with the financial support of the German government. The main goal of the project is to promote the development of the insurance market, integrate insurance tools into the country's economic policy, expand inclusive insurance, finance sovereign risks and natural disaster risks, and attract investments in the insurance industry.

Collaboration with leading international organizations opens up new opportunities for Uzbekistan in the field of insurance, facilitates the implementation of advanced solutions, and enhances the country's economic resilience to external risks.
