According to preliminary information, during the traffic accident, a traffic police officer was transporting a citizen's vehicle to the impound lot when a collision occurred with a Damas vehicle. As a result of the crash, the driver of the Damas was killed on the spot.
Meanwhile, the BYD vehicle, operated by the traffic police officer, was traveling at a speed of 87 km/h.
The spokesperson for the General Prosecutor's Office, Khayet Shamsutdinov, reported that a case has been opened in connection with the traffic accident under Article 266 of the Criminal Code (Violation of traffic safety rules or operation of vehicles).
