A gas cylinder exploded at a gas station in Andijan.

The Emergency Management Department of the Andijan region provided information about an explosion that occurred at a gas station in the Shahrihan district.

It was reported that on February 20 at 18:02, there was a flash of a gas-air mixture at the gas station (propane) in the “Yangi Nainavo” neighborhood. The information was received by the regional emergency management office, and by 18:13, firefighting and rescue teams arrived at the scene.

As a result of the incident, there was no fire. According to the press secretary of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in a conversation with Kun.uz, a cylinder exploded in a Labo vehicle.

Preliminary reports indicate that two individuals present at the gas station sustained injuries and were transported to the central district hospital for qualified medical assistance.

The causes of the incident and the amount of material damage are being clarified.
