A new technical university is set to open in Bukhara.
The President of Uzbekistan has signed a decree (No. PP-22 dated January 24, 2024) to establish the Bukhara State Technical University, which will be based on the Bukhara Engineering and Technology Institute and the Bukhara Institute of Natural Resource Management. The new university will feature a Cutting-Edge Engineering School specializing in oil and gas engineering.
