On January 31, a newborn, who had been abducted earlier that same day by an unidentified woman, was found in Djizak, according to the press service of the regional Interior Ministry.

The incident occurred at the branch of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Center for Mother and Child. The individual who took the child has been detained in accordance with legal procedures, and appropriate legal measures will be taken against them, the agency emphasized.
Earlier, the Internal Affairs Department released a statement detailing that at approximately 7:30 PM on January 31, an unknown woman aged 25-30, wearing a medical mask, entered the victim's room, claiming that the infant needed an examination. She took the child and did not return.
