In the Jizzakh region, a bus collided with a truck.

In the Sharaf-Rashidov district of the Jizzakh region, a traffic accident occurred involving a passenger bus and a road-clearing special vehicle, reports the regional police department.

The incident took place on January 30 at around 1:30 PM on the 1000th kilometer of the M-39 Tashkent – Termez highway.

The passenger bus, traveling from Samarkand to Tashkent, collided with a road-clearing vehicle that was moving ahead.

As a result of the accident, neither the drivers nor the passengers of the bus sustained serious injuries. Medical assistance was only required for three individuals.

“As soon as I saw it, I immediately swerved right. What happened, happened. The speed was approximately 70–80 km/h,” said the bus driver.

Currently, the district police department is conducting a preliminary investigation.
