Recently, a video featuring a snake went viral on social media. Employees from the cybersecurity department of the Ferghana region's internal affairs were intrigued by the case and initiated an investigation, reaching out to the regional ecology department.
During the inquiry, it was discovered that a citizen, K.K., residing in the "Mashal" neighborhood, was keeping a snake without the necessary permits, thus violating the Law on "Protection and Use of Wildlife."
"The case has been forwarded to the appropriate authorities. After a discussion, the citizen agreed to transfer the snake to a zoo," the statement reads.
As a result, the California snake was handed over to the Ferghana Zoo for further care.
