According to a report from the State Security Service, the chief specialist of the Transport Department of the Khorezm region, having gained the trust of an entrepreneur, demanded $135,000 for re-registering a 960 square meter plot of land, owned by another individual in Urgench, through acquaintances in the cadastral authorities. He promised to prepare the necessary documents for the construction of a multi-story residential building on this site. The official was caught red-handed by law enforcement while receiving an advance of $80,000.

A criminal case has been initiated against him under paragraph "a" of part 4 of article 168 (Fraud) and paragraph "a" of part 3 of article 28,211 (Bribery) of the Criminal Code, and an investigation is underway.

As part of an operational event in the Fergana region, the chief specialist of the district department of the Inspection for Control over the Agro-Industrial Complex was caught red-handed while receiving $8,700. He abused his official position to prepare fake technical passports and stickers for non-existent construction equipment to enhance the rating points of a contracting organization in the national information system "Transparent Construction" and to submit documents for a tender.

A criminal case has been initiated against him under paragraph "b" of part 3 of article 25,168 and part 1 of article 28,211 of the Criminal Code, and an investigation is ongoing.
