According to the Statistics Agency, from January to December 2024, a total of 79,667 new businesses were established in the republic (excluding farms and household plots). The largest number of these were registered in the trade sector, with 28,026 enterprises, accounting for over 35% of the total.

Agriculture, forestry, and fishing – 9,117 units;
Accommodation and food services – 6,506 units;

Other activities – 11,946 units.
