The Foreign Ministry commented on the video that insulted Uzbeks.

The video circulating on social media, in which a man insulted the Uzbek people, was described as a provocation by destructive forces, according to comments from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
МИД прокомментировал видео, в котором содержатся оскорбления в адрес узбеков.

The agency reported that immediately after the video appeared online, an official note was promptly sent to the Russian side.

“Such statements directed at our people, regardless of nationality, are absolutely unacceptable. Uzbekistan has always defended and will continue to defend the rights, honor, and dignity of its citizens, wherever they may be. Naturally, the Russian side emphasized that such offensive remarks, regardless of who made them, are deeply regrettable,” stated the Telegram channel of the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Akhror Burkhanov.

Following the investigation, it was determined that this material is provocative in nature and was created by destructive forces with the aim of inciting conflict between our peoples.

“As reported by the Russian side, the individual featured in the video is not a citizen of the Russian Federation. Currently, official Russian media are also publishing materials on this topic,” the message emphasizes.

Earlier, a video circulated on social media in which a person, presumably a citizen of Russia, compared Uzbeks to "dogs." He also referred to migrants from Uzbekistan as "paupers."
