Uzbekistan, Tashkent – Podrobno.uz. The head of Uzbekistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a farewell meeting with Belarusian Ambassador Leonid Marinich, who has led the diplomatic mission for over six years.

During the meeting, Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov highlighted the positive dynamics of cooperation, which is steadily developing across all sectors.
"It should be emphasized that the potential for bilateral relations remains even more significant. On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we express our deep gratitude to the ambassador for his many years of work and contribution to strengthening the friendly ties between our countries," Saidov stated in a message on Telegram.
Let us remind you that Alexander Lukashenko has appointed a new ambassador of Belarus to Uzbekistan. Alexander Ogorodnikov will succeed Marinich, having previously held various deputy positions in the Ministry of Industry of Belarus.
