Construction of an energy storage system has commenced in the Parkent district.

This large-scale project, which is groundbreaking for the country's energy sector, is crucial for stabilizing the energy system and creating additional backup capacity during peak consumption periods.

A notable aspect of the project is the generation of up to 300 jobs during the construction phase and 10 permanent positions upon its completion.

We would like to remind you that on the same day, December 13, two other energy storage systems were put into operation in the Andijan region (Andijan Province) and the Uzbekistan region (Fergana Province). Each of these systems has a capacity of 150 MW/300 MWh. Their total capacity amounted to 300 MW/600 MWh.
