In Samarkand, 2 tons of spoiled meat have been confiscated and destroyed.
In the Bulungur district of the Samarkand region, authorities have discovered and destroyed 2 tons of meat deemed unsafe for consumption, according to a report from the regional traffic police press service.

On the night of February 14 to 15, law enforcement authorities stopped a Shineray T30 vehicle for inspection while it was traveling towards Namangan – Samarkand. In the trunk of the vehicle, 2,000 kg of beef was discovered.
Following this, an evaluation of the suitability of these meat products was conducted at the Samarkand regional republican state center for animal disease diagnostics and food safety.
The institution's conclusion indicated that the meat was unfit for consumption. As a result, it was disposed of in accordance with established procedures.
