In Tashkent and Navoi, individuals promising overseas job placements have been detained.

According to a report from the Department under the General Prosecutor's Office, individuals promising to illegally secure employment for citizens abroad for a monetary reward have been detained in Tashkent and the Navoi region.

It is specified that during an operational activity conducted by employees of the Mirzo-Ulugbek district and the National Security Service, citizen A.N. gained the trust of citizen S.H., promising to arrange his employment in the USA through his acquaintances in high positions for 21 thousand dollars. He was apprehended with material evidence while receiving 9 thousand dollars.

Similarly, during an operational activity carried out by the department of the Khatyrchin district and the Internal Affairs Directorate, citizen M.I. was caught red-handed while receiving 1,000 US dollars and 6.3 million sums for the promise of employment for citizen Y.Sh. in Poland.

Criminal cases have been initiated in these instances under articles 168 (Fraud) and 28, 211 (Bribery) of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are ongoing.

Previously, reports were made about detentions in Urgut of the Samarkand region, the Uchtepa district of Tashkent, the city of Navoi, and Bekabad in the Tashkent region involving individuals promising employment abroad.
