A new business lounge, Anjir, has opened in Tashkent for a comfortable wait before flights.

The director of Tashkent International Airport, Jasur Pulatov, noted that the new business lounge represents another step in the modernization of the airport's infrastructure:

“Passenger traffic is growing every year — in 2024, we served nearly 9 million people. The opening of the Anjir Business Lounge will allow us to enhance the experience for our passengers. Now, in addition to the existing CIP Lounge and Anor, we have added another premium comfort lounge.”

The operator of the business lounge is the Azerbaijani company VIP Services Group, known for serving passengers at the airports of Baku and Ganja. The contract with Uzbekistan Airports was signed following the results of an open tender on the electronic platform E-auksion.uz.

The General Director of VIP Services Group, Sabir Shukurov, emphasized the project's significance: “The Anjir Business Lounge is our first implementation outside of Azerbaijan. We aimed to combine Eastern hospitality with modern technology in the lounge's interior, creating a space where travelers can comfortably await their flights.”

On the second floor, the Anjir Business Lounge features a branded Mastercard lounge with 45 seats for holders of premium cards issued by Uzbek banks.

The General Director of Mastercard in Uzbekistan, Denis Filippov, remarked: “We are creating comfortable conditions for our clients around the world. The new lounge in Tashkent is another step in enhancing our service for travelers.”

Access to the business lounge is available to first and business class passengers of Turkish Airlines and Air Astana, as well as holders of Priority Pass, LoungeKey, DragonPass, Every Lounge cards, and participants in loyalty programs.
