A monument to Sergey Yesenin is set to be erected in Tashkent.

Sergei Bezrukov has announced a project for a monument dedicated to the great poet Yesenin in the capital of Uzbekistan. The funding will be provided by the Russian side, while the design will be handled by the Ilya Glazunov Russian Academy of Painting. The People's Artist of Russia, Sergey Bezrukov, during a conversation with academician Eldar Yuldashev, spoke about plans to create a monument to Sergey Yesenin in the capital of Uzbekistan. The project will be funded by the Russian side.

The monument will be developed by the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture named after Ilya Glazunov. It will be designed with consideration for Uzbek national color to seamlessly blend into the urban landscape of Tashkent. This initiative aims to strengthen cultural ties between Russia and Uzbekistan, as well as to preserve the memory of the great Russian poet.
