In the Sergeli district of Tashkent, a private kindergarten teacher struck a child in the face and broke their leg. The incident has been addressed by the city’s Department of Preschool and School Education.

Due to the widespread video circulating on social media, which shows a child being beaten in a kindergarten, the working group of the UDSHO conducted an investigation into the situation.
It was revealed that the incident occurred on January 22, 2025, at the private preschool educational organization "Solnyshko," where a teacher's assistant, in an attempt to calm the child, struck him in the face and dragged him into the bedroom.
"As a result, the boy suffered a broken left leg. The child was taken to the hospital, where he received the necessary medical assistance," the statement said.
Law enforcement agencies are currently investigating the incident.
