In Tashkent, a preschool teacher taped a child to a chair with duct tape.

The Department of Preschool and School Education in Tashkent commented on the report that a teacher at one of the capital's kindergartens had taped a child to a chair.

A video circulated on social media showing a child in a private kindergarten in the Yunusabad district being "secured" with tape for refusing to eat.

It was revealed that on February 21, at the private kindergarten First Daycare , teacher S.A. and her assistant H.M. punished the child in this manner. Following this incident, the administration terminated their employment contracts.

Currently, the district prosecutor's office is conducting an investigation.

Previously, in the Sergeli district of the capital, a child broke his leg due to rough treatment by a teacher. Parents were informed that the boy had fallen on his own, but surveillance footage indicated otherwise.
