In the Tashkent region, a gas cylinder on a bus exploded at a gas station.

The Emergency Management Department of the Tashkent region provided information regarding an explosion of a gas cylinder on a bus at a filling station in the Yangiyul district.

It has been reported that on February 1 at 08:40, at one of the auto gas filling stations on Navbakhor Street in the "Registon" neighborhood, a special metal device designed for refueling gas detached from the gas cylinder installed on an Isuzu bus. As a result, gas began to escape into the atmosphere under high pressure.

No injuries or fatalities occurred during the incident.

"In this regard, the Emergency Management Department of the Tashkent region urges citizens to adhere to the established rules at auto gas filling stations," the statement reads.

As a reminder, in June 2024, a gas cylinder exploded in a Lacetti car in the Fergana region. It was also reported about an explosion of a gas cylinder in a Nexia-2 car in Jizzakh in May 2024, which resulted in 4 fatalities.
