In Tashkent region, authorities have opened a case against a mother for brutally beating her 4-year-old daughter.

According to the children's ombudsman, on December 23, a girl (Y.M.), born in 2020, was admitted to the clinic of the Bostanlyk district medical association in the Tashkent region with various bodily injuries.

Following the investigation, it was revealed that a woman born in 1977 (E.Y.) brutally assaulted her four-year-old daughter, inflicting severe injuries.

"In particular, the medical report indicates that the child has sustained a closed traumatic brain injury, a severe degree of traumatic brain injury, and other serious head injuries," the statement reads (https://t.me/Bolalar_ombudsmani/1864?single).

A criminal case has been initiated under Article 126-1 (domestic violence) of the Criminal Code, and a preliminary investigation is underway.
