The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shahbaz Sharif, has arrived in Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan, Tashkent – According to AN Podrobno.uz, today the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shahbaz Sharif, arrived in Tashkent. He was welcomed at the airport by Uzbekistan's Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov and other officials, as reported by a correspondent from Podrobno.uz.

After a brief conversation at Tashkent International Airport, Shahbaz Sharif, accompanied by Abdulla Aripov, visited the "New Uzbekistan" park and laid flowers at the foot of the Independence Monument.

During the visit, negotiations with the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, are expected to take place.

The parties will discuss issues related to increasing mutual trade turnover, enhancing transport connections, and unlocking transit potential. The agenda will also include cooperation in the light and leather industries, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, electrical engineering, and other sectors of the economy.

Following the summit, a joint declaration and several bilateral documents are planned to be adopted.
