In Uzbekistan, fraudsters have launched a fake app for paying electricity bills.
The Tashkent City Branch of JSC "Hududiy elektr tarmoqlari" has warned citizens against downloading a fraudulent anonymous app for tracking and paying for electricity.

In social media, messages are circulating that link to a download for an anonymous application, which offers 200,000 sums for paying utility bills.
The press service of JSC "Hududiy elektr tarmoqlari" warns Uzbekistan residents not to download such applications and advises against clicking on the suggested link. Installing these applications may lead to the leakage of personal data and access to bank accounts.
The company reminded users that they can download the official mobile application "HET BILLING" for free via Google Play and the App Store for making payments.
