In Uzbekistan, solar panels will be installed on 100,000 facilities and 150,000 homes.

Uzbekistan is set to implement a large-scale program aimed at equipping residential buildings and enterprises with solar panels, as reported by the press service of the General Prosecutor's Office.
В Узбекистане планируется установить солнечные панели на 100 тысяч объектов и 150 тысяч домов.

The Deputy Attorney General Shokhrukh Aminov emphasized that by 2025, at least 40% of energy consumption in the private sector, small businesses, and social facilities should be covered by alternative energy sources. He assured that this task will be fully accomplished.

On January 28, Aminov held an expanded meeting of the Republican headquarters for coordinating and organizing state control over the use of fuel and energy resources. During the meeting, measures to prevent illegal energy resource expenditures and issues related to energy saving were discussed.

As part of the meeting, plans were announced to install solar panels on 100,000 facilities and 150,000 private homes, in accordance with the directive issued by the president. To ensure the execution of this task and monitor the progress of the work, working groups will be established, which will include representatives from local hokimiyats, customs authorities, "Uzenergoinspektsiya", commercial banks, energy supply enterprises, and other organizations. These groups will oversee the installation process, promptly resolve any issues that arise, and ensure that project timelines are met.

In addition, it has been instructed to develop a schedule for identifying additional energy-saving reserves by districts, install reactive power compensation units for large consumers, transition electricity metering systems to a two-level consumption control system, and conduct energy audits of the 400 largest enterprises in the country.

Furthermore, there are plans to replace non-standard gas burners with more energy-efficient models.
