A new Minister of Internal Affairs has been appointed in Uzbekistan.
Aziz Tashpulotov has been appointed as the Minister of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan, having previously served as the head of the Main Department of Internal Affairs in Tashkent.

According to the decree of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Aziz Tashpulotov has been officially appointed as the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country. This was reported by the spokesperson for the head of state, Sherzod Asadov.
The candidacy of the new minister was approved by the deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis. He replaces Pulat Bobojonov in this position.
