Uzbekistan has capped diesel prices for farmers to help manage costs and support agricultural activities.

The Committee for the Development of Competition and Consumer Rights in Uzbekistan has implemented a cap on the price increase of diesel fuel on the UzRTSB. This information was provided by the agency's spokesperson, Otobek Usmanov.
В Узбекистане введены ограничения на повышение цен на дизельное топливо для сельскохозяйственных производителей.

He stated that the measure is aimed at stabilizing prices during the planting season.

Since February 26, a separate section has been opened on the exchange where farming enterprises can purchase diesel fuel in small batches. In this section, a price increase limit has been set — no more than 5% from the initial exchange price. This restriction applies only to farmers.

Recall that Kazakhstan has banned the export of gasoline and diesel fuel by rail.
