In Uzbekistan, illegal organizers of Umrah have been fined.

In Uzbekistan, instances of offering Umrah services without a license have been reported. This information was shared by the press service of the Committee for Religious Affairs.

During a check conducted by the committee, it was found that the organization LLC "Xurmo travel umra," located in the city of Margilan in the Fergana region, was organizing Umrah without the appropriate license.

According to the collected documents, a case was initiated against LLC "Xurmo travel umra" for violating the provisions of the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Licensing, Permitting and Notification Procedures."

"As a result of the investigation, it was decided to impose a fine in the amount of 200 times the base calculation amount (BCA) – 75 million sums," the statement said.

It was also revealed that Umrah was being illegally organized in Denov, Surkhandarya region, through "Anor tour." A similar case was identified in the Chilanzar district of Tashkent, where the organization "Sokin travel" was also operating without the necessary license.

The materials collected regarding the actions of the companies "Anor tour" and "Sokin travel" have been forwarded to law enforcement authorities for appropriate action.

The committee urged citizens to use only licensed and reliable services for safe and proper performance of Umrah.
