Uzbekistan has lifted the ban on sunflower seed exports.
On December 24, the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan approved a decree aimed at supporting the export potential of sunflower seed producers, as reported by the Ministry of Justice.

The decree applies to white sunflower seeds (HS code 1206 00 990 0) and striped seeds (HS code 1206 00 910 0).
It is worth noting that in May 2022, a presidential decree imposed a ban on the export of sunflower seeds, other oilseeds, and vegetable oils to stabilize prices in the domestic market.
In March of this year, the government partially eased this ban, allowing companies to export a portion of imported vegetable oil and products made from imported seeds.
During the meeting on December 10, the president instructed the deputy prime minister to explore the possibility of completely lifting the ban on the export of vegetable oil, marking an important step towards market liberalization.
