A seminar on implementing the "Participatory Budget" and developing sustainable cities was held in Uzbekistan.
On January 30th of this year, a seminar was held focusing on the projects "Performance-Based Financing for Local Governments Effectiveness and Urban Sustainability (PforR)" and "Participatory Budgeting."

During the seminar, issues related to the preparation of project documents, project financing, performance indicators, and achieving results were discussed.
Additionally, the seminar examined projects connected to the implementation of the accelerated comprehensive development program, approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on December 20, 2024, No. PF-223, which outlines projects for 15 districts (cities) where this initiative will be implemented.
As a result of the seminar, the parties agreed to enhance mutual cooperation and carry out activities within the project in accordance with the requirements of the legislation.
