Uzbekistan is establishing the honorary title of "Honored Ecologist of the Republic of Uzbekistan."
The title will be awarded to employees who contribute to the protection of nature, the promotion of environmental awareness among the public, and the advancement of the ecological sector.

The Senate has approved a law establishing the honorary title of "Honored Ecologist of the Republic of Uzbekistan."
The law underwent discussions among local Kengashes' people's deputies, the expert council of the committee, and qualified specialists.
The honorary title will be awarded for:
- significant achievements in the development and protection of ecology, preservation of biodiversity, mitigation of climate change effects, and the rational use and restoration of natural resources.
- the development and implementation of environmentally friendly and innovative technologies, expansion of green spaces, and conducting afforestation activities.
- increasing the ecological culture of the population, educating the youth in the spirit of respect for nature, preparing highly qualified personnel, as well as for active community involvement in the environmental sector.
It is noted that the badge will be made of 925 silver.
