Uzbekistan has introduced penalty points for drivers.

Penalty points are added in addition to the main punishment, and the maximum number of points for each violation cannot exceed two. All penalty points accrued for offenses are removed after one year.

If the total number of penalty points in a year exceeds 12, the driver loses the right to operate a vehicle for a minimum of six months.

Additionally, new fines have been introduced for violations of safety regulations when operating vehicles on compressed natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, or diesel-gas mixtures, as well as for infractions during passenger transport, overtaking, and causing obstructions on the road.

Penalties have also been established for the dissemination of materials that defame the honor and dignity of law enforcement officials.
