According to Baysalov, the summit will be a significant step in strengthening regional cooperation.
The meeting will take place against the backdrop of resolving border issues between Bishkek and Dushanbe.
It is worth noting that on February 21, the delegations of the governments of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan signed an agreement on the delimitation of the common border in Bishkek. The documents now need to be signed by the heads of the two states. "We have completely finalized the agreement along the entire length of the border," emphasized Kamchybek Tashiev, Chairman of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan.
