According to the press service of the head of state, the President of Uzbekistan held historic negotiations with Emir Sheikh Mishaal Al-Sabah and Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Sabah, as well as productive meetings with representatives of the government, leading companies, and financial institutions of Kuwait.
As a result of the summit, the parties adopted a Joint Statement and signed a package of agreements worth $4.9 billion, covering key areas of cooperation, including the economy, investments, and infrastructure projects.
As part of the cultural program, the President of Uzbekistan visited the "Palace of As-Salam" museum, where he explored the exhibition dedicated to the history and culture of Kuwait.
After the official events concluded, the Crown Prince and other high-ranking officials saw off the President of Uzbekistan at Kuwait International Airport. Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed for Tashkent.
