Residents of the Tashkent region have spotted stray wolves roaming in the area.

The hokimiat noted that the district is located in mountainous terrain, where wild animals, including wolves, come down every winter.

The hokimiat also reported that a special team for capturing wild animals has been dispatched to the area.

Captured wolves are planned to be sent to a zoo to create conditions similar to their natural habitat. Until now, local residents have not been harmed by the wolves.
