"Khududgazta'minot" addressed the issues regarding gas meter batteries.

At the joint-stock company "Hududgazta'minot," concerns have been raised regarding issues with electronic gas meters. It has been reported that around 2,000 specialists across the republic are working to address the identified deficiencies.
«Худудгазтаъминот» прокомментировало возникшие проблемы с батареями газовых счетчиков.

The company commented on the information circulating on social media regarding issues with the batteries of gas meters. The author of the Telegram channel "Kurbanoff.net," Shukhrat Kurbanov, noted that the batteries in locally produced meters discharge within 2–3 years, resulting in the cessation of data transmission to the system. Moreover, battery replacement can only be performed by specialists from gas supply organizations.

According to "Hududgazta'minot," specialists are monitoring the status of electronic gas meters (EGM) that are not communicating (due to battery discharge or SIM card issues). Based on the monitoring, the identified deficiencies are being rectified by gas workers in nearly 2000 mahallas across the republic. It is reported that consumer inquiries related to batteries or SIM cards are addressed promptly.

The company highlighted that EGMs retain data on readings and gas consumption for the past 90 days. If the data has not been sent to the consumer's account due to various reasons, it will be forwarded once the issue is resolved, and calculations will be made for the specified period.

Consumers are advised to periodically verify the readings of the EGMs against the data in their personal accounts. Information on readings can be obtained through the mobile application "Ҳудуд Газ Таъминот" or the personal account. If there are discrepancies in the data or the balance remains unchanged, it is essential to immediately contact the short number 1104 or the local gas supplier.

Recall that according to the presidential decree, by August 1, 2021, the installation of modern meters as part of the automated gas control and accounting system was to be completed in all regions of Uzbekistan. Following the tender results, the supplier of the meters and equipment was selected as LLC "Technopark."

The company "Technopark," established by the Tashkent administration, has been producing "smart" gas meters under the Osten brand since early 2020. According to data from Gazeta.uz, it was planned to supply 3.54 million electronic gas meters worth 5.28 trillion sums (approximately 507 million US dollars at the Central Bank's exchange rate as of December 1, 2021) by July 2021.
