Mirziyoyev has instructed to continue efforts for the modernization of the military.

During the meeting, a report from the Minister of Defense was presented regarding the progress in executing the assigned tasks aimed at enhancing the combat readiness and capability of the troops, comprehensive training of units and subunits, equipping them with modern weapons and military equipment, as well as improving the operations of the Defense Industry Agency of Uzbekistan.

The head of state emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to comprehensively strengthen the combat potential of the army and the moral-psychological condition of the personnel, modernizing weapons and military equipment, and developing defense industry enterprises.

Additionally, attention was drawn to the necessity of accelerating combat and operational training activities, improving the system of professional training for officer personnel and the engineering and technical staff of military enterprises.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the president issued instructions for the further development of the armed forces and the strengthening of the country's defense capabilities.
