Mirziyoyev congratulated Trump on his inauguration as President.

In his message , the head of state expressed confidence that during Donald Trump's new presidential term, the international authority and role of the United States on the global stage, as well as the country's economic power and potential, will continue to grow.

Mirziyoyev noted that Uzbekistan highly appreciates and values the U.S. policy aimed at supporting the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of the nation.

"I would like to emphasize that during your first presidential term, a new era of strategic partnership began in the relations between Uzbekistan and the United States, and our dialogue has reached a higher level. We are interested in further developing long-term cooperation both bilaterally and within multilateral platforms," the President of Uzbekistan's message states.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev also invited Donald Trump to visit Uzbekistan.
