Info kiosks will be installed at bus stops to sell electronic tickets for cash.

As part of the project of the State Program for 2025, measures are being discussed to enhance the public transportation system in the regions.

The plan includes the construction and reconstruction of 16 bus terminals and bus stations in the regions.

Additionally, 50 new public transport routes will be established, and the share of electronic payments for travel will increase from 15% to 30%. There are also plans to acquire 700 modern buses and to build and reconstruct 743 intermediate stops.

The public transportation system will also be developed in Tashkent.

Info kiosks for selling single-use electronic tickets with cash payment options will be installed at the bus stops in the capital. All buses on routes organized under gross contracts will be equipped with devices for scanning QR tickets.

An information campaign is planned to raise awareness about the availability of automated info kiosks for purchasing single-use electronic tickets with cash.
