It is noted that the industry is engaged in collaboration with foreign companies. With their involvement, projects have been established to stabilize gas production volumes for the upcoming year. In particular, modern technologies will be utilized, new production wells will be drilled, and old ones will be repaired.

The report highlights that the main issue in the industry is that geological exploration has not received adequate attention for many years. As a result, some fields have nearly exhausted their operational lifespan, while the efficiency of others is low. Therefore, modern technologies will be introduced, and geological exploration will commence on 15 new promising sites. The area of seismic research will be expanded to 6,500 square kilometers.

Responsible officials have been tasked with developing a program for 2025 aimed at advancing geology and exploring new fields with the involvement of major foreign companies and experts.

"Uzbekneftegaz" will continue its transformation, reduce production costs, and improve its international credit rating. In particular, next year, it is planned to attract funds from international sources to finance production and geological exploration projects.

The head of state emphasized the importance of human resources alongside investments and new technologies in the industry. Instructions have been given to enhance the quality of education, prepare modern specialists, and attract qualified compatriots working abroad.
