It is noted that a working group has been established consisting of employees from the "UzDavneftGazInspection" of the Fergana territorial department, the regional emergency management office, and the "HududGaz Fergana" branch to prevent accidents and adverse incidents, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and address identified deficiencies.
This working group will examine the compliance of autogas compressor stations (AGTKC), autogas filling stations (AGZS), and gas stations (AZS) with industrial, fire, and environmental safety requirements, as well as the condition of fuel tanks and other legal standards.
It is emphasized that during the inspections, the financial matters of the gas stations will not be affected, and their operations will continue as usual.
Additionally, training for employees of gas stations, compressed and liquefied gas stations operating in the region, regardless of their organizational and legal form, will be conducted at the regional emergency management training center under a special program.
Recall that on December 17 at 13:43, an explosion occurred at a multi-fuel gas station located on Ahmad Yassavi Street in the city of Fergana. This incident was caused by a violation of the technological process and failure to comply with safety regulations during the discharge of liquefied gas, resulting in a flash and subsequent fire.
The incident led to serious consequences: four people lost their lives, there are injured individuals, and vehicles and dozens of buildings were damaged. A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident.
