In Samarkand, five men reportedly died in one day, presumably due to alcohol poisoning, according to a statement from the Prosecutor General's Office, as reported by Kun.uz.

The deceased lived in the neighborhoods of Nurafshon, Shukrona, and Madaniyat. Their ages ranged from 39 to 72 years.
Four of them passed away at home, while one died in the hospital.
According to preliminary investigations, most of them had a history of alcohol abuse.
An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the causes of death.
