Uzbekistan has welcomed 142 "champions" among entrepreneurs who have paid at least 100 billion soums in taxes.

Under the chairmanship of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, a video conference meeting is being held dedicated to the results of support for entrepreneurship this year, as well as the main plans for 2025, with the participation of leading business figures.

In the country, there are 142 "champions" among entrepreneurs who employ over 5,000 staff, have an annual income exceeding 1 trillion sums, and whose tax contributions amount to no less than 100 billion sums.

These companies have implemented advanced technologies and modern management methods, independently secure inexpensive resources, timely repay loans and taxes, and have no overdue debts.

The key aspect is that they strive for innovation every day and do not stop in their pursuit of progress. These companies are evolving into diversified corporations and are making a significant contribution to the development of related industries.

The President emphasized the need to support other promising entrepreneurs to increase the number of "champions."

It was noted that such entrepreneurs could be provided with land plots and buildings directly, have state enterprises transferred for long-term management, and establish mutually beneficial cooperation in the development of the military industry, drone production, IT technologies, and artificial intelligence.
