The export of goods other than gold has increased. In particular, the export of industrial goods amounted to $3.88 billion, rising by 3.6%. Revenue from textile and fabric exports decreased by 3%, totaling $1.83 billion. Shipments of non-ferrous metals rose by 9.2% to $1.4 billion, while exports of steel and iron fell by 4.5% to $171.2 million.
The export volume of chemical products reached $1.5 billion, marking a 24.6% increase. The export of "other transport equipment" surged by a third, reaching $130 million, while the export of consumer and miscellaneous goods totaled $956 million.
The import of machinery products decreased by 8.1%, amounting to $12.15 billion. Deliveries of cars and components fell by 25.6% to $2.96 billion, whereas the import of electrical equipment increased by 12.6%, totaling $1.79 billion.
The import of chemical industry products declined by 3.7% to $4.28 billion. Supplies of fuel and lubricants rose by over 61%, reaching $3.62 billion. Food imports increased by 5.6%, amounting to $3.33 billion.
Among the CIS countries, Russia accounted for 50.8% of the total foreign trade turnover, with Kazakhstan in second place at 18.3%, and Turkmenistan rounding out the top three at 5.1%.
