It has been revealed that around twenty children were transported from the Andijan region to Karakalpakstan in three Damas vehicles. This was reported by the Road Traffic Safety Service.
On December 15, three Damas vehicles were stopped in the Bukhara region. The cars contained three coaches and approximately twenty children.
Reports indicate that the children were being taken a distance of 1,500 kilometers to the city of Nukus to participate in wrestling competitions. Each vehicle had 6–7 children and one coach.
It is worth noting that according to the Cabinet of Ministers' decree, groups of children from general educational schools and secondary vocational institutions can only be transported in specially equipped service vehicles accompanied by law enforcement officers.
