Starting in 2025, the eBay marketplace became the first foreign online company to register for tax purposes in Uzbekistan. The company's name has been officially listed in the Tax Committee's registry.

The Swiss company eBay Marketplace GmbH has completed its registration on January 17.
As a reminder, since 2020, a VAT payment procedure has been introduced for foreign companies providing electronic services to individuals in the republic.
Today, 27 foreign electronic service providers have already registered through the "VAT office for internet companies" in Uzbekistan. Among them are Netflix, Yandex, Google, Samsung, Apple, Booking.com, and others.
