In Nukus, a kindergarten teacher and her assistant were caught kicking children and hitting them with slippers.

In one of the kindergartens in Nukus, an investigation has been initiated regarding the abusive behavior of a teacher and their assistant towards children.

A video circulated on social media shows the teacher kicking one child during class and roughly dragging him when he started to cry. In another instance, the teacher hits a crying child with her slippers.

According to the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the incident occurred in November 2024 at a private preschool educational institution in Nukus. The teacher R.Sh. and the assistant D.S. used physical force against the children.

The Prosecutor's Office of Nukus is conducting an investigation into this matter.

"The results of the investigation are under the control of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, and a legal decision will be made based on its findings," the statement reads.

Previously, in one of the kindergartens in Sergeli, a child suffered a broken leg due to the teacher's abusive behavior. The kindergarten administration informed the parents that the boy fell and injured himself, after which he was taken to the Sergeli District Medical Center. However, reviewing the surveillance footage helped uncover the truth.
