The head of the LLC embezzled 934.4 million sums allocated for the repair of the heating network in the Kukdalin district of the Kashkadarya region, reports the Department of the General Prosecutor's Office.

It is noted that the investigation was conducted by the Kukdalin district department of the agency. It has been established that the responsible individuals from LLC "S-T" and others conspired and included in official documents works that were, in fact, not completed regarding the construction and repair of the heating system for social facilities in the district.

In total, they misappropriated 934.4 million sums of budget funds and 79 tons of coal that had been delivered for heating social facilities.

In connection with this situation, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 167 of the Criminal Code (Theft by appropriation or embezzlement), and an investigation is underway.

Earlier it was reported that in Namangan, 13 tons of coal were embezzled , which was supposed to be delivered to the population, and in the Samarkand region, the warehouse manager and a security guard were detained for selling coal intended for distribution at discounted prices to needy families.
